Shotgun Tatsu is a character who excels at both short and mid-range and with the help of his Yellow/Red Charge his long-range game isn't necessarily bad either. Kasai's best tool is by far his Yellow Charge which is only really held back by the fact that he has a capacity of only 3 Charge.

Your goal as a Shotgun Kasai is to run around blasting fools with his Black and Yellow Charges, every once in a while using the exploding bullet to deal massive damage.

Neutral Shot (NS)[]

Kasai's sickest looking and most versatile move. The range isn't very good, it only gets it's full damage at close range. However, Kasai can use this move mid-combo for good damage and while sidestepping, dashing forward, or back-dashing. Making it really useful for counter-attacking opponents' moves after side-stepping or back-dashing. The images below show off Kasai's athleticism.

Charge Shot (CS)[]

Kasai's best long-range tool. Very fast startup and tough to dodge in time for the opponent. From my testing it just goes full-screen for no reason. Most common charge to use in combos.

Full Charge Shot (FCS)[]

Kasai's explosive shotgun blast. Kasai actually has a hidden explosive round inside his shotgun, he only uses this in dire situations. Now imagine Kasai from the visual novel series Higurashi no Naku Koro ni levitating 30ft in the air and shooting an explosive pellet down to the ground. Sadly, not a very good move as it doesn't even do too much damage and the range isn't as great as a lot of chars FCS.
